I am Norman Jay Avena, a photographer from the Philippines currently based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

I got interested in photography when I landed my first job at a facility that manufactured Pentax cameras, giving me access to a wide array of (then emerging) digital cameras. I soon found the camera to be an indispensable part of my travel kit, starting with digital photography and later expanding to video. While I consider live music photography to be my favorite, I make a living as a freelance food, sports, and event photographer/videographer and is accepting assignments across the UAE.
